Fused Deposition Modelling
Fused Deposition modelling popularly known as FDM is one of the most sought out and the cost-effective way producing functional prototypes to display prop
About

The FDM process is so versatile as it has many plastics in filament form. The filaments are thermoplastics that are heated and deposited layer by layer and cooled subsequently to maintain their shape.

The most common plastics are PLA and ABS followed by flexible plastics, like TPU, and high-strength plastics like Polypropylene and Polycarbonate as well as GFRP and CFRP composites. Multi-color prints are available.

Popular Machines we use
-
Prusa
-
Markforged
-
Stratasys Fortus 450
-
Zotrax
The advantage of FDM, is the strength and the mechanical properties can be tailor-made as per the functionality as the slicing process is open source and can be customized.
Most plastics deflect at 60 Deg C
